China June soy imports from Brazil rise 2%, customs data show

Data released on Saturday revealed that China's soybean imports from Brazil increased by 2.2% in June compared to the same month last year. Chinese buyers took advantage of lower-priced South American beans, importing 9.72 million metric tons of soybeans from Brazil, up from 9.51 million tons a year earlier, according to the General Administration of Customs.
