During the reviewed week, guar seed average prices remained stable, with a slight increase of 0.1%, reaching INR 5,355 per quintal. Meanwhile, the average net prices of guar gum in Jodhpur went up marginally by 0.6%, reaching INR 10,717 per quintal.

Internationally, the US oil rig count has been declining week-on-week. However, this week saw an improvement in crude oil prices, which is likely to boost drilling activity and potentially increase exports in the coming month. This could positively influence guar prices.

In the northwestern part of Rajasthan, a prolonged dry period had stressed the sowing process, supporting guar prices in previous weeks. Recent rainfall in the region is expected to lower prices. However, the anticipated increase in exports may mitigate this decline, stabilizing guar seed prices at the INR 5,200-5,300 level in the near future.
